Trinity

Andrei Rublev was a Russian monk who painted around 1425. The Trinity is the visit of three angels to Abraham at Mamre in Genesis — but Rublev arranged them as a perfect circle around a central chalice, using pure geometry to argue for the doctrine of the Trinity.
