Fine Wind, Clear Morning (Red Fuji)

In Japanese the phenomenon is akafuji. On certain late-summer mornings, when the air over the eastern flank is dry and the sun is at a particular low angle, Fuji briefly turns rust red as the rising sun catches the volcanic stone before vegetation hides it again.
